Coto Valley CC

One of the best features of Coto Valley Country Club is the vast outdoor space. A grand lawn lined with mature flowering trees, creates the perfect backdrop for an outdoor garden wedding. A romantic iron gazebo and chairs are included in the facility fee. An incredible value. This is the ideal setting… ceremony on the Great Lawn, Cocktails and appetizers on the patio, and dinner, dancing, and celebrating in the Clubhouse. All of this surrounded by acres of natural wooded areas. Did I mention riding in on horseback or by carriage? Come check it out.

Special thanks to the following who made this all possible; Hanssie Trainor Photography, French Buckets, Fusion Linens, Sugarbaker and Toad, Typologie and Co, Diego Ortega, Elements of Artistry, and Hope Stanley Bridal Stylist.

Coto Valley Country Club Part 1

Say HELLO to our newest venue, Coto Valley Country Club! There is so much amazing space with acres and acres, so I am splitting it up into three parts. The first is the indoor Clubhouse, able to accommodate up to 200 guests. Love all of the windows and grand stone fireplace. Rental of this private venue includes tables and natural wood chivari chairs. An incredible value.

Red, White, and Blue

Patriotism isn’t something that only arrives a few times a year. It is woven into each American that is grateful for their freedoms. Holidays however, are a great reminder of the sacrifices made. Something about red, white, and blue, and our American flag conjures up thoughts of family and celebration. I often forget the primary colors when weddings are discussed. Most would say they are not romantic… I beg to differ.

I had the opportunity to create a styled photoshoot, along with an incredible cast of professionals, for one of THE most amazing photographers, MIKE COLÓN. The inspiration board was created by Kat Harris and we ran with her vision of Americana. Designer Specialty Linens created,  out of many patterns, the beautiful linens that adorned the tables and chairs. Not to mention pillows! French Buckets as usual exceeded expectations bringing in pops of color, wildflowers and antique accents. Touches of old fashioned paper from Typeologie and Co, and of course Jay’s fabulous food. Gorgeous Caramel Apples and Patriotic Pies accented by our Wedded Bliss cocktail dressed with a cherry. Notice we didn’t stop with the table, we also created a picnic, incorporating all of those traditional favorites, like watermelon, Coke and Kobe Beef Sliders.

Okay, enough talking… if Mike’s photo’s don’t get you to stand up and sing God Bless America, I don’t know what will. I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THESE PHOTOS. Happy day after Fourth of July! ENJOY!

Thank you to everyone involved. It was such an amazing shoot. If you want to see more. Check out yesterday’s feature on Style Me Pretty.

Bold Colors

Okay, so it’s not the best picture. It was taken with a phone and sent to me. Here is where those cute little cookie cakes landed along with a tall roughly frosted cake with oranges on top.  I love the bold dramatic colors and styling by French Buckets!

Pinwheels

This cute little cake is heading out today for a sweet, intimate wedding at The McCharles House and Gardens. I LOVE when a wedding reflects the bride and groom and their fun-loving spirit.
