Coto Valley CC

One of the best features of Coto Valley Country Club is the vast outdoor space. A grand lawn lined with mature flowering trees, creates the perfect backdrop for an outdoor garden wedding. A romantic iron gazebo and chairs are included in the facility fee. An incredible value. This is the ideal setting… ceremony on the Great Lawn, Cocktails and appetizers on the patio, and dinner, dancing, and celebrating in the Clubhouse. All of this surrounded by acres of natural wooded areas. Did I mention riding in on horseback or by carriage? Come check it out.

Coto Valley Country Club Part 1

Say HELLO to our newest venue, Coto Valley Country Club! There is so much amazing space with acres and acres, so I am splitting it up into three parts. The first is the indoor Clubhouse, able to accommodate up to 200 guests. Love all of the windows and grand stone fireplace. Rental of this private venue includes tables and natural wood chivari chairs. An incredible value.

Pinwheels

This cute little cake is heading out today for a sweet, intimate wedding at The McCharles House and Gardens. I LOVE when a wedding reflects the bride and groom and their fun-loving spirit.

A Private Estate Wedding with French Buckets

I LOVE a home wedding. There is something about inviting guests into your home to celebrate a special occasion. This was a lovely wedding at a private residence with the most amazing garden. Sussanna at French Buckets adorned the iron gazebo with ribbon, twigs, and flowers. The tables were then set with vignettes of antique silver pieces filled with flowers. I am in love with this idea. So much more personality than a single centerpiece. A special touch I always notice on Sussanna’s bouquets is the antique fabric rucheing and a personal family touch. This one holds a family heirloom Cameo. So sweet. I always enjoy working with Sussanna at French Buckets. Her out-of-the-box creativity always amazes me.

The Japanese Garden

The intimate beauty and perfection of the Japanese Garden, hidden on the Cal State Long Beach Campus, creates a romantic setting for weddings and receptions. It’s privacy and impeccably maintained grounds attract couples seeking a unique outdoor setting for their special day. Surrounded by tall trees, the elegant 1.3 acre garden features lush green landscaping, gracefully arched bridges, shimmering koi pond, and sparkling waterfalls. The garden can accommodate up to 200 guests for a ceremony and up to 165 for a wedding and reception. Photos by Sarah K Chen.
