Carmageddon Cookies

Jay’s Catering congratulates JetBlue for taking customer service to a new level during Carmageddon weekend. As an alternative to carpooling, you could have booked a ‘planepool’ between the Valley and the beach for $4 each way, including taxes and fees and to sweeten the deal, JetBlue is giving each flyer one of these custom cookies we baked. Thank you JetBlue for your forward thinking on customer service!!

Best Caterer in Orange County

The OC HOTLIST features more than 3,300 businesses competing for title of Orange County’s Best. Jay’s is honored to have been chosen The Best Caterer in Orange County for the second  year in a row thanks to our loyal customers. It is our pleasure to provide outstanding food and friendly customer service. Food is our passion and we will continue to create fresh new menus that will tantalize even the most discriminating guests.

Autism Awareness Day

Today Autism Speaks Kicks off World Autism Awareness Day and Autism Awareness Month with its Light It Up Blue Campaign. Over 500 Iconic Buildings and Landmarks Around the World will Shine a Bright Blue Light on Autism. At Jay’s we support many community groups and Autism Awareness is one near and dear to our heart. Our President and CEO at Jay’s, Linda Loaeza, is on the Board of GAN, Grandparents Autism Network, where providing support and a center  for information is their mission. As GAN grew, CHOC Children’s Hospital, UC Irvine, and GAN came together to provide a one-stop resource for all Orange County families impacted by autism and related disorders —FAN, The Family Autism Network. On this site, Jay’s provides and supports a community calendar where families find events, support, and resources in their community. Today Jay’s is proud to say “We will light it up blue”.

Christmas Eve

We are open 364 days a year, 24 hours a day. The only day we close is Christmas and this makes for a very busy day on Christmas Eve. So… to make it a little easier for our pick-up customers we move everything out back and create a drive-thru. Cars are loaded with Christmas feasts, tablecloths and rentals, and our guests are invited to enjoy coffee, eggnog and cookies as they wait. It’s a wonderful time of year and we truly enjoy the opportunity to get to know our customers a little better.

Merry Christmas from the Jay’s Family to you and your’s.

Twas the Busiest Day of the Year

WOW… we just finished up our busiest day of the year. It never ceases to amaze me how smoothly our kitchen performs. I get a rush just standing in there, watching them create fabulous, fresh food. I realized once again how EVERYTHING is made from scratch. So many fresh pastries, breads, sauces, beet and sweet potato chips, and Beef Wellingtons. All heading out to today’s events and celebrations. So many events in fact, we have closed the rest of the week to new events. This time of year the demands are great and the phone keeps ringing so we limit the number of events we take on. The quality of our service and food is paramount. We will never compromise  quality for quantity. If you are still curious to see what goes on in our kitchen, here’s a video from last year’s busiest day.

Hope we made it to your celebration. If so, I would love to hear some of your favorite foods. CHEERS!
