Catering Chronicles – Food for Thought

We had so much fun the other night at our Tasting Event with The Ebell Club. It’s a great evening of food, cocktails, sweets, and great conversations. The Ebell Club is set just as you would see it on your wedding day and we serve up cocktails, appetizers, dinner, and a sweets station. We met so many amazing couples and I can’t wait to see all of the details they bring in this year. What a wonderful gathering of brides and their entourages. A huge thanks to Gavin and Erin from Gavin Wade Photographers ( a preferred for Ebell) for the photos.

I have known Bobby Brown of Bobby Brown Photography for many years and recently had the opportunity to work with him on Amanda and Mark’s wedding at The Ebell Club (one of the most beautiful historical landmarks in Long Beach). I love his natural and relaxed approach to capturing emotion. You immediately feel comfortable with him, just like a member of the family. One of my favorite photos, other than Amanda’s gorgeous blue eyes… the old wooden blue doors in the alley. Great job scouting out the area and taking advantage of the different photo opportunities. The last shot of Amanda and Mark in front of The Ebell Club is amazing. It is such a joy to work with Bobby. Looking forward to the next two at Bella Collina.

This is by far one of my favorite ways to end an evening. As guests were leaving, they were surrounded by the sweet aroma of fresh baked cookies and chilled milk shots.
