Friday the 13th Back to the Future Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Grace and Joseph met in Grand Gimeno’s Olive Grove for their first look on the morning of their wedding. On the photographer’s signal, Joseph turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a lace wedding gown. Smiles immediately filled their faces and sweet compliments were exchanged. After the intimate moment, the couple posed for pictures with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, then headed out to the Courtyard for a surprise. Grace surprised Joseph with a Back to the Future DeLorean and the bride and groom smiled for the camera in the car before lining up for their ceremony.

Guests arrived in the Olive Grove and took a seat facing our Spanish fountain. Once everyone was in attendance, live music began playing and the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and family, Joseph and Grace read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Meat Lovers and Sweet and Salty Pancetta Wood-Fired Pizzas were cut and served fresh out of the oven while Crab Cakes and Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts were tray passed around the Olive Grove for cocktail hour. The bar served Old Fashioned and Cadillac Margarita signature drinks while everyone mixed and mingled. While guests enjoyed appetizers and drinks, the newlyweds posed for the camera around the venue. Upon their return to cocktail hour, it was time to head inside for reception.

Tables were topped with black and red details and modern table numbers helped guests find their seats. Grace and Joseph made their grand entrance and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Friends and family stood to share toasts and Chicken Veronique, Cabernet Braised Short Ribs, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and Caesar Salad was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Lauren. While guests ate, the newlyweds shared their first dance, family dances, and money dance. After, Joseph and Grace invited everyone to indulge in dessert and meet them on the dance floor. The evening ended with plenty of shared dances and an In-N-Out late night snack.
