NYE Wedding at Hangar 21 South

After getting ready, Madison and Joe met on the Hangar 21 South tarmac for their first look. A tap on the shoulder signaled Joe to turn around. Standing before him in a sparkling wedding dress was his beautiful bride. The couple shared sweet compliments and posed for photos together, then joined their bridesmaids and groomsmen for group pictures. The wedding party wore black, so Madison really stood out contrasting them in her white dress. Together, the group smiled for the camera, and when guests began arriving, the party lined up for ceremony.

Guests entered the side patio, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat. White floral arrangements and drapery lined the aisle and matching flowers decorated the stage. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Madison. In front of all their friends and family, Joe and Madison read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Vegan Black Bean and Sweet Potato Empanadas, Polote, and Cuban Papas Rellenas greeted guests on the tarmac for cocktail hour while the bar was serving up Skinny Margarita and Old Fashioned signature drinks. While guests mixed and mingled, the newlyweds wandered off with their photographer for pictures together as husband and wife. When the sun had fully set, the hangar doors opened to reveal the reception space inside and welcome everyone in.

Tables were topped with candles, greenery, and flowers and black and white details decorated the space. Madison and Joe made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Southwest Chicken, Slow Roasted Carnitas, Refried Beans, Pasilla Rice, and Mexican Caesar Salad was served while guests stood to share toasts. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. After dinner the couple cut into their wedding cake and invited everyone out to the dance floor. The evening ended with a New Years countdown, late night Mini Corn Dogs and Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts snacks, and plenty of well wishes for the bride and groom.
