A Romantic Outdoor Wedding Under the Olive Trees at Grand Gimeno

Claire and her bridal party popped champagne and got ready inside the Powder Room at Grand Gimeno while Nick and his groomsmen suited up inside the Parlor. Hair and makeup ready, the girls stepped out into the Olive Grove for group photos. The bridesmaids were dressed in different pink dresses and Claire of course wore white. Fresh floral bouquets were in tow as the girls wandered around the outdoor space smiling for the camera. Meanwhile, Nick and his groomsmen gathered in the Courtyard for photos. The groomsmen were dressed in beige and Nick wore a forest green suit. Once all the group pictures were done, the wedding party headed back inside to line up for the ceremony.

Friends and family entered the Olive Grove and mingled until it was go-time. The lush landscaping surrounding the ceremony space tied in perfectly with the greenery and white floral ceremony arbor at the head of the aisle. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Claire. Nick did his best to keep it together when he saw his beautiful bride for the first time coming down the aisle towards him, and once joined together, both him and Claire were all smiles. In font of all their guests, Claire and Nick read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. The crowd cheered and the newlyweds made their exit into cocktail hour.

Tray passed Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Beef Picadillo Empanadas made their rounds in the Courtyard while stationary Caprese Skewers with Pesto and Seared Ahi on Wonton Chips became a hot spot for hungry guests. The line for drinks was moving quickly while bartenders poured G&T and Negroni signature drinks for guests. While everyone mixed and mingled, the bride and groom posed for photos as husband and wife, then joined their party to soak in the last few minutes of cocktail hour.

Back in the Olive Grove, tables were decorated with fresh floral centerpieces, rattan charger plates, flickering candles, green goblets, and decorative linens. Guests checked the orange crate seating chart display to find their assigned tables and made their way into reception. Once every chair was filled, Nick and Claire made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their head table. Next, dinner began with Tangerine Pecan Salad. While everyone enjoyed the salad course, friends and family stood to share toasts. Glasses clinked in the air and the final entrée course was served which included Cabernet Braised Short Ribs and Lemon and Thyme Chicken with Grilled Green and White Asparagus and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Sierra, during their planning process. The newlyweds thanked everyone for coming to celebrate their love story and invited everyone to indulge in our Italian Dessert Station with a collection of Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes and hit the dance floor. The live band played song after song that coaxed every guest out of their chair. The evening ended with hundreds of glow sticks up in the air while everyone danced their hearts out.
