An Intimate Weekday Wedding: Princesa + Johnathon

On April 12, 2018, this couple celebrated their union with their closest family and friends- which began with an outdoor ceremony on the Tarmac, with an arch that the groom himself designed and created. For cocktail hour, a selection of tray passed appetizers including Jay’s famous Palm Sandwich. Dinner included an All-American buffet of Boneless BBQ Chicken, Smoked Beef Brisket, Mac and Cheese station plus fresh Cesar Salad, Potato Salad and Dinner Rolls.

The music flowed through the venue, and guests only left the dance floor to be whisked away for a helicopter ride or to refill their drink-both leaving guests buzzing. With a helicopter entrance, the Bride and Groom ended the night equally as grand with a sparkler exit. All captured beautifully captured by Christy Johnston.

Sean + Anthony, Hudson Loft

On March 26th of this year, Sean and Anthony said their ‘I do’s’ at Hudson Loft. Their closest family and friends shared this beautiful day with them in Los Angeles!

Sean and Anthony planned to hold their wedding in Big Sur, however due to massive flooding they were forced to relocate. They pulled together this beautiful wedding (with a ton of help from Round Town Events) in just 6 weeks!

Guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizes after the ceremony on the rooftop, including our Mini Beef Wellingtons with Béarnaise Sauce and Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts. The reception followed, where guests feasted on our Grilled Panzanella Salad with Heirloom Tomatoes, Pine Nuts, Feta Cheese, Smoky Brioche, & Oregano Vinaigrette, Filet Mignon and Zucchini Lime Chicken.

For dessert, Sean and Anthony served our All American Dessert Station, plus our Grand Coffee Bar with Fresh Donuts!

Jay's Catering Celebrates 50 Years in Business

Thank you for being a loyal customer of Jay’s Catering! Since my mother and father started our business over 50 years ago we have had the privilege of catering many lifetime celebrations. As we kick off our 50-year celebration I would like to say thank you on behalf of my family and all our Jay’s Catering employees.

We look forward to continuing into our third generation with my son, Armand Jay Barragan (AJ).  AJ, a visionary like his grandfather, looks forward to continuing the growth of Jay’s while maintaining the highest level of service & catering. We thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives through catering and look forward to serving you again.

Jay’s Catering started with our now famous Cold Buffet, comprised of our signature cheese roll palm sandwiches, served with potato salad, ambrosia and a relish tray. In celebration of our 50th Anniversary I’m excited to introduce our new “24 Hour Menu” featuring Jay’s Cold Buffet & palm sandwiches.

Chelsea + Ray, Engaged

It may be fall, but we are still reminiscing about summer engagement parties. This is one of our all-time favorites, Chelsea and Ray’s Palm Springs themed party, right here in Orange County!

The pros at Intertwined Events put together the design, and we brought the food and drinks! The night started with Shrimp Cocktail Shooters, Mini Hawaiian Pizzas, and Greyhounds (vodka + grapefruit) at the bar to keep cool in the summer heat.

For the main course, Chelsea and Ray featured our Poke Station. Guests made their own poke bowl with Ahi, Hamachi, and Teriyaki Chicken with a wide variety of toppings!
