A Sign of Love at Serra Plaza

Pews and Chiavari Chairs were placed in rows in the Serra Plaza Grand Plaza while greenery and white flowers dripped from the courtyard fountain. Guests made their way to the ceremony space, signed Mitch and Nikki’s guest book, and took a seat to anxiously await the bride and groom’s arrival. Mitch stepped out, walked down the aisle in a sleek suit, then stood with a smile on his face awaiting his bride, Nikki. Nikki and her father walked down the aisle arm in arm. A blusher veil covered her face and she wore a beautiful strapless wedding dress that had lace detailing peek-a-booing through the top layer of tulle. Vows were exchanged and laughs were shared in a heartfelt ceremony that ended with a kiss.

Indoor and outdoor lounge spaces were set up for cocktail hour, our favorite being the lounge outside with a wooden backdrop that said, “the Andersons” and was surrounded by large paper flowers. Crab Cakes with mango papaya salsa, Fig, Goat Cheese & Mascarpone Tarts, and a European & Domestic Cheese Wedge Tray were available for guests to enjoy before being seated for the reception. Before dinner, toasts were made and the Father of the Bride gave a very special toast with large poster boards. Afterwards, the buffet opened serving up Santorini Chicken, Grilled Marinated Vegetables, Apple Walnut Salad, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes and Tri-Tip Carvery. For dessert, our Classic Dessert Station with an assortment of French Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs and French Apple Tarts were displayed for guests on platters and the bride and groom cut into their white cake with strawberry crème filling and classic buttercream icing. The rest of the night was spent on the dance floor with close friends and loving family.
