Sofreye Aghd at The Estate on Second

Sanam and Kristofer got ready and had their first look off-site before arriving at The Estate on Second for their wedding. The Crystal Ballroom was decorated in candles lining the aisle and a floral install over the center Palladian window. Music ushered guests to their seats and followed the wedding party down the aisle as everyone found their spots. The bride and groom exchanged vows and rings before heading over to the sofreye aghd where symbolic items like a mirror resembling eternity and candlesticks resembling a bright future were displayed. During the ceremony, a canopy was held above Sanam and Kristofer’s heads by the bridal party. During this time, members of the family grind sugar and sprinkle it over the fabric as if they are showering the couple in sweetness. The ceremony concluded and the bride and groom walked out of the ballroom while being cheered on by family and friends.

Cocktail hour consisted of live music and our European and Domestic Cheese Wedge Tray, Chicken Stuffed Mushrooms and Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts. Guests mingled in The Attic while sipping on beverages from the bar including the couple’s signature drinks: The Zombie and Ranch Water. After cocktail hour guests found their way back to the Crystal Ballroom where a plated dinner of Pear & Walnut Salad, Angus Flat Iron Steak, Agave Salmon, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, and Steamed Seasonal Vegetables was served. After dinner the newlyweds cut their red velvet and marble two-tiered wedding cake and opened the Classic Dessert Station for guests to indulge in an assortment of French Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, and French Apple Tarts. The remainder of the evening was spent showing off moves on the dance floor before sending the happy couple off.
