Al Fresco Wedding Reception Complete With A 4-Foot Millefoglie at Serra Plaza
Angela and Jerome tied the knot and headed to Serra Plaza to continue the celebration with their guests at cocktail hour. Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Grilled Baby Lamb Chops, and Chilled Shrimp Skewers were tray passed around the Lounge while signature Geogia Peach and Coconut Mai Tai cocktails were served at the bar. Guests mixed, mingled, and posed for photos together before heading out into the Courtyard for the wedding reception.
White floral centerpieces and travertine table numbers adorned each tablescape surrounding a checkered dance floor beneath sparkling chandeliers that illuminated the outdoor wedding reception. Jerome and Angela made their grand entrance and danced with guests and their wedding party before taking their seats at the head table. Toasts were shared while Grilled Panzanella Salad was served followed by Cabernet Braised Short Ribs and Zucchini Lime Chicken with Roasted Broccolini and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. After dinner, the newlyweds and their guests watched as Poul’s Bakery assembled a 4-foot wide millefoglie for dessert. Once assembled, Angela and Jerome topped it with powdered sugar and dug in. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves, celebrating the happy couple, and sharing their well wishes.
