Baby Blue and I Do’s at Grand Gimeno

By the time ceremony was set in the Foyer, Sahira and Chad were ready in their wedding attire at Grand Gimeno. Saving their first look for the aisle, the bride and groom posed individually for portraits before guests arrived. Chad wore a navy suit with floral tie and Sahira was dressed in an off-the-shoulder lace gown. Once pictures were complete, the wedding party lined up for ceremony.

Guests entered the Foyer, snapped a polaroid, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat. Pastel pink, peach, blue and white flowers topped the fireplace mantle and matching arrangements marked the back and front of the aisle. With every seat filled, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. A tearful first look was shared when the bride and groom saw each other for the first time across the aisle from one another. In front of all their closest friends and family, Sahira and Chad recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Cocktail hour was held inside where Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts and Chilled Shrimp Skewers were tray passed and Old Fashioned and Paloma signature drinks were poured at the bar. While guests mixed and mingled, the newlyweds wandered around the Olive Grove for pictures together as husband and wife. Upon their return to the party, it was time for reception.

Tables were topped with blue details and fresh floral centerpieces. Guests found their assigned seats and watched as Chad and Sahira made their grand entrance and shared their first dance. Toasts were shared then guests were excused by table to the buffet line where Grilled Greek Chicken Kabobs, Beef Souvlaki, Basmati Rice, Lemon and Artichoke Orzo Salad, Pita Bread, and Greek Salad were served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. After dinner, Sahira and Chad cut into their white wedding cake with cappuccino creme filling and invited their guests to indulge in a slice. The celebratory evening ended with some guests gathered around the fire pit outside sharing stories, and others out on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
