Black and White Winter Wedding at Hangar 21 South

The Hangar 21 South doors opened revealing Kim and Brian facing each other for their first look on the afternoon of their wedding. Smiles filled their faces and compliments were shared before the couple joined their wedding party for group photos. The bridesmaids and groomsmen all wore black making Kim really stand out in her white wedding dress. Together the group posed for the camera creating lasting memories, then lined up for the ceremony.

Guests entered the side patio, signed Kim and Brian’s guest book, then took a seat. White flower petals and floral arrangements lined the aisle, and matching flowers decorated the ceremony backdrop on the stage. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Kim. In front of all their friends and family, Kim and Brian read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes were tray passed around the tarmac while the bar served up the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Lychee Margarita and Old Fashioned, for cocktail hour. Everyone mixed and mingled while the bride and groom took flight over Orange County touching down just in time for the reception.

Tables surrounding a white dance floor were topped with black details and white flowers. Guests stood and cheered from their seats as Brian and Kim made their grand entrance from their helicopter flight and made their way to the dance floor. The newlyweds shared their first dance and took a seat at their sweetheart table for toasts. Family and friends stood to share their speeches and Chicken Marsala, Cabernet Braised Short Ribs, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Marinated Vegetables and Pear and Walnut Salad was served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Arielle. After dinner, Brian and Kim cut into their white wedding cake with cappuccino creme filling and invited their guests to indulge in a slice of white cake or red velvet cake with cream cheese filling. The evening ended with lots of dancing out on the dance floor and a sparkler send off.
