The setup began as Danielle’s family raced the clock to set up her 40th birthday party dinner before she arrived home. A boho tablescape took shape as rust colored napkins and stoneware plates were placed atop straw placemats. Menus at each place setting displayed entrees, accompaniments and dessert and gold flatware marked the sides of each plate. Dried lavender, bunny tails, light pink roses and more filled vases and apothecary jars as centerpieces and a mix of wooden and gold candle holders lit the table with tea candles and candlesticks. Right when the decor was complete, the doorbell rang and dinner was delivered.
A buffet of Chicken Parmigiana, Capellini with Olive Oil and Fresh Herbs, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Vegan Tofu Piccata, Fresh Vegetables, Tangerine and Pecan Salad, Brown Rice and Vegan Focaccia Bread was set out and ready for everyone to plate up, and right on time, Danielle walked through the doors. Celebratory welcomes greeted her as everyone made their way to the kitchen. Vegan, vegetarian, and meat options were available to suit every meal preference as guests scooped up entrees and sides. Once everyone was seated, conversations around the table began with life updates and weekend plans. Gifts were opened and Danielle’s birthday ended with a yummy vegan carrot cake for everyone to share.
