Boho Beachside Re-Wedding at the Casino San Clemente

Having already tied the knot during COVID, it was time to celebrate at their postponed wedding celebration! Crystal and Aldo got ready at the Casino San Clemente and shared a first look in the Patio of the Stars around a decorated fireplace. Pampas grass sprouted up from rattan vases and an assortment of peach, orange, mauve and ivory flowers filled the spaces in between. With a tap of the shoulder, Aldo turned around to see his beautiful bride. Since the two were already married, Crystal wanted to break the norm and went with a short dress with long chiffon train detail. Aldo twirled his bride around for a full 360 view and both him and Crystal shared a few laughs and compliments. The couple read hand written cards aloud to one another, then guests began to arrive for cocktail hour.

In the Patio of the Stars, cocktail tables were draped in ivory linens and a photo booth was set up for guests to pose for pictures. Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Crab Cakes, and Fig, Goat Cheese & Mascarpone Tarts were tray passed while everyone sipped on refreshing beverages. Before joining the party, Aldo, Crystal, and their wedding party took group pictures in the Rock Garden together, then Crystal changed into her 2020 wedding dress just for cocktail hour. The dress was a beautiful, all lace style with some mesh detailing. Her and Aldo made their rounds to thank their guests for coming and expressing their excitement that they were finally able to get together to celebrate their marriage. Afterwards, everyone was invited inside for the reception and found their seat via a disco ball seating chart display.

Tables inside were covered in ivory linens and topped with boho-inspired centerpieces. Above, hanging from the ceiling, disco balls and wicker lights hung surrounded by greenery. Plates were topped with thank you gifts and amber-colored goblets completed each place setting. After everyone was seated, Crystal and Aldo made their grand entrance into their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Toasts were made and glasses clinked in the air to celebrate the couple, then dinner was served. Servers plated up Santorini Chicken, Tri-Tip Carvery, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Grilled Marinated Vegetables, and Pear & Walnut Salad. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Patti, during their planning process. While everyone ate, the bride and groom played fun games for everyone’s entertainment. Once everyone had eaten their fill, a donut wall was unveiled and guests were invited to enjoy dessert. Crystal and Aldo also cut into their 2-tiered white and red velvet wedding cake which was also served as dessert. After filling up on treats, the remainder of the night was spent out on the dance floor.
