Boho Terracotta Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Marcus and his groomsmen got ready inside the Parlor at Grand Gimeno while Hailey and her bridesmaids got hair and makeup ready in the Powder Room. Drinks were poured to calm the nerves and stories were shared of times past, then it was time for Hailey’s reveal. The bridesmaids stood with eyes closed in the Olive Grove as Hailey took her place standing before them. On the count of three, the bridesmaids opened their eyes and screamed in excitement. Hailey stood before them in her beaded gown holding a bouquet of dried flowers to match the boho theme. Compliments were exchanged between the bridal party, then Marcus was sent out to exchange personal vows with Hailey before the ceremony. The couple stood together without any distractions and read aloud their vows. Smiles were shared and tears were shed, and with a sweet kiss and hug, Marcus and Hailey went back inside to line up for ceremony.

Guests entered the Olive Grove and took a seat on either side of the pampas-lined aisle. A wooden backdrop decorated with dried flowers stood tall and our Spanish fountain could be seen in the distance. Once everyone had arrived, Marcus led the wedding party in the processional. Once the bride and groom were together under the olive tree branches, they recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. Friends and family cheered as the newlyweds made their exit into cocktail hour.

Cocktail tables were set up around the Olive Grove and a fireplace lounge added extra seating where guests could relax while enjoying hors d’oeuvres like Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts and Roasted Red Cherry Tomato Bruschetta. The bar was mixing up the newlywed’s signature cocktails, a Moscow Mule and Whiskey 7, uncorking wine, and cracking open beers while the bride and groom snuck away to take golden hour photos. Upon their return, everyone was invited inside to enjoy dinner.

Reception tables were topped with terracotta-colored vases and candles and complete with custom printed menus, name cards, and table numbers. Guests found their assigned seats and awaited the bride and groom. Music cued up and Hailey and Marcus made their grand entrance to an uproar of cheering. The newlyweds shared their first dance then took a seat at their sweetheart table for toasts. Family and friends shared their favorite memories of Marcus and Hailey and glasses clinked in the air as each speech ended. Tables were excused to fill their plates with Chicken Piccata, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Roasted Italian Zucchini, and Caesar Salad while the bride and groom made their rounds thanking everyone. The menu was selected by Marcus and Hailey during their planning process with our Event Specialist, Lauren. After dinner, a 2-tier white cake with cappuccino creme filling was cut and guests enjoyed dessert. The evening ended out on the dance floor with everyone showing off their best moves with the bride and groom.
