Bright Backyard Wedding Reception

Seth and Chloe exited their temple as husband and wife beaming from ear to ear. Their families followed behind cheering and posed for photos with the newlyweds before heading to the backyard reception where the celebration would continue. The bride and groom stuck around to take pictures together as husband and wife before joining everyone else for dinner and dancing.

The backyard in which the reception was taking place was decorated in a bright, happy color palette of oranges and yellows. Terracotta vases housed each table’s floral arrangements and even more flowers could be seen sprouting out from the ground, hanging from tree branches and string lights, and popping out of bushes. A mixture of tables were topped with ivory linens for the fun, interactive dinner that was about to commence. Flowers in the front of the house greeted guests and led them through the side gate, back to the party. The bride and groom wanted to encourage their guests to mingle in a lively environment, so with the help and suggestion of our Event Specialist, Brianna, they opted for food stations as their main dinner menu. An Elote Corn Station, Pasta Station with Chicken Rotolo Bolzano and Tortellini Corsica, Poke Station with Ahi Poke and Faroe Island Salmon Poke, and Melt Bar with Blackberry, Brie, Bacon and Jalapeño Melts and Pulled Pork and Mac N Cheese Melts were scattered across the backyard and filled the air with irresistible smells.

Seth and Chloe arrived as guests were trickling in and made their rounds as husband and wife thanking everyone for coming. Live music set the scene and beautiful views of rolling hills could be seen from all around the backyard. Due to the bustling nature of the reception, guests spent most of their time out of their seats, eating dinner, grabbing ice cream, jumping on the trampoline, or dancing. No formal first dance was had but Seth and Chloe joined in with their guests for most of the evening’s dances, the two even jumped on the trampoline with the kids. The sun set and the dancing and singing continued late into the night before everyone sent the bride and groom off in an uproar of cheers.
