Brown and Blue Wedding at Serra Plaza

A tap on the shoulder turned Henry around to see his beautiful bride standing before him in the Serra Plaza Courtyard. Smiles, happy tears, and sweet compliments were shared between the couple in the intimate moment. After the first look, Audrey and Henry’s bridesmaids and groomsmen joined them for group photos in front of the venue’s grand archway backdrop. The bridesmaids were dressed in brown and the groomsmen were suited up in black with brown ties. Together they stood side by side and smiled for the camera creating lasting memories before lining up for the ceremony.

Guests signed the bride and groom’s guest book and headed into the Courtyard to take a seat. White and blue flowers lined the aisle and decorated the Spanish fountain ahead. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their friends and family, Henry and Audrey read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Inside the Lounge, the bar was serving up the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Blackberry Mojito and Whiskey Pineapple while tray passed Crab Cakes, Thai Chicken Spring Rolls, and Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts made their rounds. Guests mixed, mingled, and posed for selfies with the newlyweds. As cocktail hour came to a close, everyone checked the seating chart and headed back to the Courtyard for the reception.

Chandeliers hung above tables topped with blue and white floral centerpieces. Audrey and Henry made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Family and friends shared toasts while Zucchini Lime Chicken, Tri-Tip Carvery, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, and Pear and Walnut Salad were served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. After dinner, the couple cut into our white cake with strawberry creme filling and invited their guests to indulge in our Italian Dessert Station with a collection of Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes. The evening ended with lots of photos taken in the photo booth and dancing out on the dance floor.
