Bubbly Wedding at Hangar 21 South

Amika and Joti arrived at Hangar 21 South to continue their marriage celebrations surrounded by family and friends. A welcome sign ushered guests into the side patio where arrangements of greenery and fresh florals lined the aisle and decorated the ceremony backdrop. Live music cued up as soon as everyone was seated, and Joti made his entrance shortly followed by Amika. Everyone stood in awe as Amika made her walk over to Joti at the head of the aisle. In front of their loved ones, the bride and groom read their vows, participated in wedding traditions, and exchanged rings. The crowd cheered as Joti and Amika made their grand exit and shared a sweet kiss.

Cocktail tables topped with ivory linens and bud vases lined the tarmac and two modern pink and white lounges offered comfortable places for guests to sit back. The newlyweds had a quick outfit change, then were off on their flight while guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and drinks. Stationary Roasted Red Cherry Tomato Bruschetta, Veggie Samosas with Tamarind Chutney, Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls, Blackberry, Brie and Jalapeno Melts, and Caprese Melts were available to snack on while the bride and groom’s signature drinks, a Mojito and Moscow Mule Mocktail, were being poured at the bar. Just as the sun was setting, Amika and Joti touched down for their bubbly grand entrance. Sparklers lit the dance floor as the bride and groom shared their first dance. With one final dip, the Hangar doors opened revealing the reception space inside.

Flowers and crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling and more florals decorated the top and sides of each table. Once everyone was seated, the bride and groom took the hot seat for toasts. Family and friends shared their fondest memories and glasses clinked in the air as each speech ended, then it was time for dinner. The buffet was filled with Zucchini Lime Chicken, Grilled Moroccan Vegetable Kabobs, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Persian Saffron Rice, Mashed Potatoes, Veggie Curry, and Pear and Walnut Salad. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Sierra, during their planning process. After dinner, Joti and Amika cut into their 2-tiered lemon and carrot cake and invited their guests to indulge in dessert. Our Gourmet Dessert Station with a collection of Mini Lemon Curd Tarts, Berry Champagne Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Mini Carrot Cupcakes, and Caramel Cream with Lemon Curd and Praline Crisp Dessert Shots was unveiled and everyone grabbed a treat. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and posing for pictures with the newlyweds.
