Burgundy Love at Hangar 21 South

After getting ready inside Hangar 21 South, Richard and Carolyn met in the courtyard for their first look. Carolyn gracefully walked over to Richard in her flowing wedding dress with lace bodice and within a few seconds, she was staring her future husband in the eyes with a huge smile on her face. The two admired each other and shared a few moments alone soaking in every second before meeting up with their groomsmen and bridesmaids on the tarmac. Each groomsman wore a navy suit with burgundy tie and each bridesmaid wore a red maxi dress. To match their red dresses, the bridesmaids and bride held beautiful bouquets of burgundy and white flowers with greenery mixed in. Carolyn also wore a matching flower crown. While the wedding party was making their way back from the tarmac, guests began to arrive and took their seats outside in the courtyard where the ceremony was set up with a large sunbeam backdrop. Music cued up and the wedding party walked out and found their spots on the stage in front of family and friends. Lastly, Carolyn walked down the aisle to Richard, and in front of the sunbeam backdrop, they exchanged their vows.

Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts were tray passed while the bar was shaking and serving up fresh cocktails. The newlyweds chose two signature cocktails: A mojito and an old fashioned, to be served to guests along with the usual beer and wine. After mixing and mingling, everyone headed inside for dinner. A delicious dual entrée of Tri-Tip Carvery and Zucchini Lime Chicken was served along with Grilled Marinated Vegetables, Pear & Walnut Salad, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano and Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes. After dinner everyone was able to dig into the Classic Dessert Station that had an assortment of French Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs and French Apple Tarts. The evening ended with a delicious cake cutting and dancing that won’t soon be forgotten.
