Butter Yellow Grand Gimeno Wedding
Aileen in her tulle wedding gown and Alan in his black tux met inside the Foyer for their first look at Grand Gimeno after getting ready in the Powder Room and Parlor. A tap on the shoulder turned Alan around to see his beautiful bride standing before him and smiles immediately filled their faces. Sweet compliments were exchanged privately, then the couple joined their bridesmaids and groomsmen out in the Olive Grove. The bridesmaids wore light blue and sage green dresses, and the groomsmen were suited up in navy. Together the group smiled for the camera and lined up for the ceremony.
Guests signed Aileen and Alan’s guest book and took a seat in the Olive Grove. Yellow and green flowers lined the aisle and created a floral-filled ceremony backdrop. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and family, Alan and Aileen read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts made their rounds while Wood-Fired Neapolitan and Burrata Pizzas were cut and served. For something refreshing, guests lined up at the bar for beer, wine, soft drinks, and the newlywed’s signature cocktails, an Old Fashioned and Melon Margarita. Everyone mixed and mingled until it was time to head inside for the reception.
Tables were topped with large yellow and green floral arrangements and flickering candles. Once everyone had found their assigned tables, the newlyweds made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Toasts were shared while Chicken Sonoma, Cabernet Braised Short Ribs, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Marinated Vegetables and Roasted Golden Beet Salad was served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Selena. After dinner, the bride and groom cut into their chocolate cake with raspberry creme filling and invited their guests to indulge in our Taste of Asia Dessert Station with a collection of Yuzu-Mango Tarts, Ube Crinkle Cookies, Pandan Cupcakes, Café Sua Da Macarons, and Golden Milk Flan with Chai Whipped Cream. Afterwards, everyone hit the dance floor for a group picture and some dancing. Well wishes were shared with Aileen and Alan, and the couple surprised their guests with a late night snack of Mini Corn Dogs. The evening ended with lots of selfies taken and everyone showing off their best moves.
