Christ Cathedral Ceremony and Hangar 21 South Reception

After cheering on Thanh and Angelo as they sealed their ceremony with a kiss at the Christ Cathedral, guests made their way over to Hangar 21 South for cocktail hour. Upon entry, they were greeted with fresh coconuts, tray passed Sesame Shrimp and Mango Spring Rolls and Sticky Pork Belly Bites, and a stationary Bao Bar with Korean Bulgogi Beef. The bar was mixing up the newlywed’s signature drinks: Midori Sour, Adios, and Georgia Peach cocktails while everyone mixed and mingled. Thanh and Angelo posed for a few photos on the tarmac, then took off on their flight over Orange County. When they touched back down, it was time for reception.

The Hangar doors opened revealing a beautiful reception inside. Tables were draped with our Cambria linens and topped with light pink and white floral centerpieces. The bride and groom made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Family and friends shared toasts while everyone else enjoyed dinner. The evening’s menu consisted of Thai Three Flavored BBQ Chicken, Vietnamese Lemongrass Pork, Honey and Ginger Glazed Salmon, BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Spicy Szechuan Green Beans, Flat Noodle with Black Bean Sauce, and Vermicelli Noodle Salad which was selected by Thanh and Angelo during their planning process with our event specialist, Lauren. After toasts, a lion dance was performed, and the crowd went wild. Cheering could be heard all around the hangar as the dance continued bestowing blessings and prosperity upon the newlyweds. Next, the couple cut into their 2-tiered white cake with raspberry creme filling and invited their guests to indulge in our Italian Dessert Station with a collection of Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake, and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor waving around glow sticks and showing off their best dance moves.
