Colorful Floral and Fruit Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Alice and Troy met in the Courtyard at Grand Gimeno for their first look on the afternoon of their wedding. A tap on the shoulder turned Troy around to see his beautiful bride standing before him dressed in white. Sweet compliments were exchanged and private vows were read during the intimate moment between the couple. Afterwards, the bride and groom lined up for their wedding ceremony with their wedding party.

Guests entered the Olive Grove, signed Troy and Alice’s guest book, then took a seat. Vibrant orange, yellow, and green florals and foliage lined the aisle and decorated the space under the olive trees where Alice and Troy would soon stand. Once everyone was in attendance, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and family, Troy and Alice recited their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss as guests cheered from their seats.

Wood-Fired Neapolitan and Classic BBQ Chicken Pizzas were cut and served fresh while Seared Ahi on Wonton Chip and Braised Pork Belly Bao were tray passed around the Olive Grove. Everyone mixed and mingled and posed for photos with the newlyweds, then headed inside for the reception.

Inside, tables were topped with fruits like lemons, oranges, pears, and green grapes. Those fruits intermingled with colorful floral centerpieces in orange, red, yellow, and lavender. Alice and Troy made their grand entrance and took a seat at their floral-filled sweetheart table. Honey and Ginger Glazed Salmon, Vietnamese Braised Short Ribs, Pineapple Fried Rice, Chow Mein, and Asian Cucumber Salad was served while toasts were shared. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Lauren. After dinner, the couple cut into our Lemon Blueberry Cake with Honey Citrus Creme filling and invited their guests to indulge in our Taste of Asia Dessert Station with a collection of Yuzu-Mango Tarts, Ube Crinkle Cookies, Pandan Cupcakes, Café Sua da Macarons, and Golden Milk Flan. The evening ended with the lights down low and everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
