Courtyard Wedding at Serra Plaza

Lauren and Eliott, along with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, met at Mission San Juan Capistrano on the afternoon of their wedding. With the historic Mission as their backdrop, the bride and groom shared their first look with a warm embrace and sweet compliments. The couple was then joined by their wedding party for group photos around the Mission before heading to Serra Plaza to continue the celebration.

Guests entered the Serra Plaza Courtyard and found their seats facing the Spanish fountain backdrop decorated in light pink, white, and green flowers. Once everyone was seated, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and family, Lauren and Eliott recited their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts and Shrimp Ceviche were tray passed inside the Lounge while the bar served up French 75 and Aperol Spritz signature drinks. Guests mixed and mingled while the newlyweds posed around the venue for romantics. As the sun began to set, guests checked the origami seating display and headed back out to the Courtyard for the reception.

Tables topped with floral-filled bud vases surrounded a wooden dance floor and blush and green flowers decorated the sweetheart table and fountain. Lauren and Eliott made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Green Goddess Chicken, Tri-Tip Carvery, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Pear and Walnut Salad, and Rosemary Focaccia were served while toasts were shared. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Emily. After dinner the newlyweds invited everyone to indulge in our Gourmet Dessert Station with a collection of Mini Fruit Tarts, Individual Creme Brulee, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Mini Carrot Cupcakes, and Caramel Cream with Lemon Curd and Praline Crisp Dessert Shots. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and sharing their well wishes with the newlyweds.
