Dancing Debut at The Estate on Second

Jenica arrived at The Estate on Second in a blush gown decorated in rose gold sequins for her birthday debut. Family joined her in The Attic for individual and group photos before meeting the rest of the court outside. Everyone in the debutante’s court wore either a light pink dress or black suit with light pink bow tie to match the celebratory theme. Laughs and cheering could be heard all around the venue as the group posed in front of the camera before heading inside The Estate on Second.

Guests arrived through The Veranda and into The Crystal Ballroom where tables were decorated in white flowers and crystal beads. Gold rimmed plates and matching gold flatware sat atop white table linens and light pink napkins completed each tablescape. Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Fig, Goat Cheese & Mascarpone Tarts and a Charcuterie Tray entertained guests as they waited for Jenica. A warm welcome of the cotillion court began with a choreographed dance in front of family and friends with a few words from the birthday girl, then dinner was served. With help from our Event Specialist Brittany, Jenica was able to select delicious options from our Classic Menu: Pear & Walnut Salad, Chicken Marsala, Tri-Tip Carvery, Penne Alla Checca, Mashed Potatoes, and Fresh Vegetable Medley. Dancing and a candle presentation followed dinner where each of Jenica’s friends shared past memories in front of all the guests. Jenica surprised everyone with an outfit change and another choreographed dance that ended by urging everyone to join her on the dance floor. For those who didn’t want to show off their moves, a photo booth with fun props was the go-to spot. After all the presentations, toasts, and performances, Jenica surprised her hungry guests with a late night snack Mac and Cheese Station with an assortment of toppings like bacon, sausage, crunchy onions, flamin hot cheetos and more. She also cut her 3-tiered chocolate, vanilla and red velvet birthday cake and served it to those with a sweet tooth.  After eating their fill and dancing the night away, guests said their good byes and headed home still energized from all the festivities.
