Estate Wedding with an Italian Menu

Curtis and the guys knotted their ties and laced up their shoes downstairs while Courtney and her bridesmaids finished getting ready upstairs at The Estate on Second. The groomsmen were dressed in light grey suits with slate blue ties that perfectly matched each bridesmaid’s dress. Curtis made sure to stand out from the group in a black suit and of course, Courtney wore white. Once all finishing touches were complete, Curtis headed upstairs for his first look with Courtney. Positioned with his back facing his bride, a tap on the shoulder signaled his turn. A huge smile filled both Curtis and Courtney’s faces as their eyes met for the first time that day. Hugs and kisses were shared, then the group headed downstairs to line up for the ceremony.

White flowers and greenery framed in the center Palladian window and more floral arrangements marked the back of the aisle. Guests arrived, signed Curtis and Courtney’s guest book, then took a seat. Once everyone was accounted for, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. In front of family and friends, the bride and groom read aloud handwritten vows and exchanged rings to signify their everlasting love. The ceremony ended the the newlyweds sharing a sweet kiss as everyone cheered them on.

The bar was shaking up the bride and groom’s signature cocktails, a Blue Hawaiian and Paloma, while Roasted Red Cherry Tomato Bruschetta and Caprese Skewers with Pesto were tray passed to hungry guests. Everyone mixed and mingled while the bride and groom were off taking golden hour photos outside and enjoying each others company. Upon their return, everyone had made their way back into the Crystal Ballroom for reception.

Tables were draped in light grey linen and fresh floral arrangements were placed as centerpieces. With sparkling chandeliers above creating a romantic atmosphere, Courtney and Curtis made their grand entrance into their first dance. Guests gazed at the couple and clapped when they were done as the bride and groom took a seat at their sweetheart table. Glasses clinked in the air as friends and family made toasts, then dinner was served. Everyone filled their plate with Italian Lasagna, Ravioli with Roasted Red Bell Pepper Sauce, Garlic Parmesan Mushrooms, Grilled Marinated Vegetables and Caesar Salad. The bride and groom selected the Italian-inspired menu during their planning process with our Event Specialist, Arielle, and it did not disappoint - You can’t go wrong with pasta! Up next, Courtney and Curtis cut their 3-tiered lemon wedding cake with lemon creme filling and invited their guests to enjoy a slice before hitting the dance floor. The dj picked up the beat and before long, everyone was showing off their best dance moves. As a surprise ending, the bride and groom ordered our late night snack of Fried Chicken and Waffle Bites. The sweet and savory treat was a hit. Guests grabbed a bite and said their goodbyes and well wishes, then headed home.
