Fall Floral Wedding at The Casino

Sean and his groomsmen arrived at the Casino San Clemente dressed to impress. The groomsmen wore all black with ivory pocket squares and Sean wore a white and black suit to contrast the group. The guys wandered around the Casino while Valerie and her bridesmaids were putting the finishing touches on their looks. Valerie wore a classic, trumpet style wedding gown and each of her bridesmaids wore peach slip dresses. The girls held bouquets of red, rust and white flowers as they went to the Rock Garden for Valerie and Sean’s first look. Sean stood anxiously awaiting Valerie with his back facing the girls, and with a tap of the shoulder he turned around and emotion overcame him and his bride. The two were on the verge of happy tears and shared a warm embrace and loving words, then were joined by the bridesmaids and groomsmen to line up for ceremony.

Foliage and fall flowers climbed the fireplace mantle in the Rock Garden as guests took a seat. More floral arrangements were positioned together at the start of the aisle tying together the whole ceremony space while music filled the air. Once everyone was seated, Sean began his walk down the aisle followed by the bridesmaids and groomsmen and ending with Valerie. The bride and groom tried their best to hold themselves together in front of family and friends as they locked eyes. Once together at the head of the aisle, the couple shared sweet vows and exchanged wedding bands as a symbol of their eternal love. With a kiss that almost swept Valerie off her feet, the ceremony came to an end and everyone headed into cocktail hour.

The Patio of The Stars housed cocktail tables covered in ivory linen where guests stood and enjoyed refreshment and hors d’oeuvres. A Bruschetta Station with tomato pomodoro, olive tapenade, sundried tomato cream cheese, sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions, gorgonzola crumbles, and balsamic reduction with parmesan crostinis was readily available for anyone to build a plate and Gloria’s Caramelized Bacon Wrapped Mini Franks were tray passed. Everyone sipped and snacked until it was time to head inside for dinner.

A frosted acrylic seating chart helped guests find their assigned tables inside. Fall flowers were arranged between and around candles creating centerpieces at each table and black napkins matched each place setting’s printed menu. Once everyone had found their seat, the newlyweds made their grand entrance and a roar of cheering and clapping could be heard from all around. Valerie and Sean shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweet heart table for toasts. Funny, loving, and heartfelt moments were shared as guests raised their glasses, then dinner was served. A Slider Station with Kaula Pulled Pork and Smoked Beef Brisket, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Flatbread Station with Grilled Chicken and Pesto and Sweet and Salty Pancetta Pizzas, and Penne Alla Checca was served. The bride and groom decided on the interactive menu with help from our Event Specialist, Brittany, and guests enjoyed every last bite. Of course, something sweet needed to be indulged in after a savory dinner. The bride and groom cut into their 3-tiered white cake with strawberry creme filling and invited their guests to a slice. Full from dinner and energized from dessert, the evening ended out on the dance floor with guests showing off their best moves.
