Fall Florals Wedding at Serra Plaza

Michelle slipped into her wedding dress and headed upstairs for her first look with Jeffrey at Serra Plaza. On the count of three, the groom turned around and the couple stood in excitement. Compliments were shared and pictures of Michelle and Jeffrey were taken while the wedding party watched from the sidelines. After a few shots, the bridesmaids and groomsmen joined in and smiled for the camera. Laughs were shared and memories were captured, then Michelle and Jeffrey went to Mission San Juan Capistrano for portraits just before guests arrived at Serra Plaza for the ceremony.

Inside the courtyard, fall-colored florals decorated the Spanish fountain, aisle, and ceremony space. Guests signed the bride and groom’s guest book and took a seat under sparkling chandeliers. Once everyone had arrived, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their loved ones, Jeffrey and Michelle recited their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts, and Braised Pork Belly Steamed Buns were tray passed while beer and wine were served for cocktail hour. Guests mixed and mingled, and the newlyweds posed for photos as husband and wife under draped archways. Once everyone had eaten their fill, it was time for reception.

The courtyard transformed from ceremony to reception with candlesticks and floral centerpieces topping every table. The bride and groom made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Chicken Veronique and Cabernet Braised Short Ribs with Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Broccolini, and Tangerine and Pecan Salad was served while toasts were shared. The menu was selected by Michelle and Jeffrey with help from our event specialist, Lauren. After dinner, the couple cut into their lemon wedding cake with lemon creme filling and invited everyone to indulge in our Classic Dessert Station with a collection of Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Mango and Passion Fruit Macarons, and French Apple Tarts. The evening ended with lots of dancing and a celebratory send off.
