Flash Mob Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Brandon and his groomsmen suited up in the Parlor while Jennifer and her bridesmaids finished accessorizing in the Powder Room at Grand Gimeno. When the bride and groom were ready, they met in the courtyard breezeway for their first look. With a squeeze of the hand, Brandon turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him. Huge smiles filled their faces and tears were shed. The couple then headed inside to exchange gifts before rejoining their bridal party outside. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Brandon and Jennifer read personalized vows to one another and shared a sweet hug when they were done. The photographer snapped some group photos, then the party lined up for ceremony as guests began to arrive.

Live music filled the Olive Grove when guests entered and signed the bride and groom’s guest book. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party entered down the aisle and found their places near the floral arbor. Jennifer and Brandon recited vows, broke bread, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss as the crowd cheered them on.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts were tray passed around the Olive Grove while guests created their own mocktails. The newlyweds snuck away from the party to pose for their first photos together as husband and wife and returned just in time for reception. Everyone checked the seating chart and headed inside for dinner.

Tables were topped with disposable cameras to make sure every moment was captured, light pink and terracotta colored floral centerpieces, and tall candlesticks to complete the decor. Guests found their assigned tables and the newlywed’s made their grand entrance. People from all around the room got up to participate in a flash mob with the wedding party, then the bride and groom shared their first dance and took a seat at the sweetheart table. Friends and family stood to toast Jennifer and Brandon and glasses of wine clinked in the air as each speech ended. Dinner was served next. Tables were excused to fill their plates with Zucchini Lime Chicken, Tri-Tip Carvery, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Grilled Marinated Vegetables and Caesar Salad. The menu was selected by the bride and groom during their planning process with our Event Specialist, Kristy. While guests were eating dinner, Jennifer performed a special dance for Brandon as everyone watched from their chairs. Afterwards, Brandon and Jennifer cut into their white cake with raspberry creme filling and invited their guests to enjoy a slice. Energized from dinner and dessert, everyone hit the dance floor, and after dancing the night away, the newlyweds were sent off through a crowd of glow sticks.
