Floral Inspired Wedding at the Rose Center

Connie and her bridesmaids slipped into their dresses in the bridal suite at the Rose Center while Joseph awaited his bride upstairs for their first look. After putting on her shoes and fastening the back of her sparkling earrings, Connie sat down to read a special handwritten letter from her future husband. A sweet smile filled her face as she read each word. Shortly after, she put on Minnie Mouse ears and headed up to see her groom. Joseph anxiously waited for Connie near the Rose Center’s large windows with his back towards the stairs. With a tap on the shoulder, Joseph turned around to see his beautiful bride and her Minnie Mouse ears. The two immediately broke into laughter as the Disney ears broke with ice and calmed their nerves.

Outside in the courtyard, guests arrived and found their seats after signing the bride and groom’s guest book. Two tall floral installs took center stage and two more matching arrangements marked the beginning of the aisle. Live music serenaded guests as the bridal party made their entrance ending with Connie arm in arm with her father. The bride and groom exchanged vows in front of family and friends and participated in a unity tree ceremony to symbolize longevity and the strengths in their marriage. The newlyweds sealed the deal with a kiss and cheered all the way down the aisle and into cocktail hour.

Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Fried Chicken & Waffle Bites were individually plated for guests to enjoy and refreshing boba was the drink of choice. While everyone was snacking and mingling, reception tables were set up in front of the stage. Greenery table runners with pops of pink flowers sat atop white linens and classic place settings marked each guests seat. As soon as the newlyweds returned, everyone was asked to take their seats for dances, toasts and dinner. Joseph and Connie shared their first dance on stage by their sweetheart table, then proceeded to dance with their father and mother. After dances, friends and family made toasts to the couple and shared loving memories before dinner was served. Tri Tip, Zucchini Lime Chicken, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Julienne Vegetables, and Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano filled guests plates. The menu for the evening was pre-selected during the planning process by Joseph and Connie along side our Event Specialist, Arielle. To say that dinner was a hit would be modest. Guests fully enjoyed every last bite and were wishing they could get seconds and thirds. Lastly, the cake was cut and dessert was shared before everyone sent the bride and groom off in an uproar of ribbon and cheers.
