From Beach to Backyard

Making the most of an inconvenient situation can bring out cherished memories and the best times. This COVID couple did just that! With the help of our Event Specialist, Brittany, Jordan and Nick were able to adjust their wedding day to accommodate all their wants and needs for a beautiful wedding while still adhering to county guidelines. From the beach to their backyard, Jordan and Nick simplified their special day without sacrifice and began their lifelong journey of love together despite all obstacles.

Jordan and Nick got ready separately with their bridesmaids and groomsmen and met each other for their first look. Jordan was dressed in a romantic ruffled, a-line wedding gown with trailing veil and sparkling headband. Nick wore a fashionable white tuxedo coat with contrasting black lapel, bow tie and pants. With a tap of the shoulder, Nick turned around to see his beautiful bride. Sweet smiles filled both their faces as they complimented each other while sharing kisses before heading into their intimate ceremony.

After saying, “I do,” the newlyweds headed home for a backyard reception with the rest of their family and friends. The backyard was draped in white fabrics and covered in white roses and hydrangeas creating a breathtaking scene. Gold flatware, napkins, chargers and more added a pop of elegant color to the tablescapes and white flower arrangements ran down the center of each table. Guests arrived to delicious Chicken Jalapeño Empanadas and Jay’s Famous Tortilla Chips with our homemade salsa. The bar opened and was pouring a selection of beer and wine and the bride and groom’s signature cocktails: Moscow Mule and Pineapple Margarita. The wedding party arrived in style, dancing their way into the backyard and taking their seats ready for dinner. Grilled Pollo Asado Tacos, Al Pastor Tacos, Fajita Veggies, Handmade Tortillas, Spanish Rice, Elote Corn Salad, Mexican Caesar Salad filled everyones plates while toasts were shared. The remainder of the evening was filled with picture taking, cake, dancing and a sparkler send off.
