Golden and Green Boho Wedding at Serra Plaza

Abigail and Daniel started their day tying the knot at the Mission Basilica, then headed back to Serra Plaza to continue their wedding celebration with cocktail hour and reception. A live mariachi band serenaded guests as they entered Serra Plaza’s Lounge and Hidden Terrace. Whiskey Sour and Coconut Mojito signature drinks were poured at the bar and tray passed Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts made their rounds to hungry guests. A boho-inspired lounge with mustard, magenta, orange, and green details was situated in front of the Lounge fireplace where guests could sit back and socialize. While guests mixed and mingled, the newlyweds posed for photos with their bridesmaids and groomsmen under the Courtyard archways creating lasting memories they’ll cherish forever. After photos, the bride and groom joined their guests for cocktail hour posing for selfies and sharing their gratitude. As the hour came to a close, everyone checked the large white and green tile print seating chart install outside of the Lounge doors and took a seat under rattan pendant lights in the Courtyard.

Colorful floral arrangements topped tables and added pops of orange, green, and pink to the Courtyard transforming it into a boho setting. Green goblets, gold table numbers, caramel-colored velvet napkins, and printed menus completed each tablescape. A wooden and white checkered dance floor was situated in front of the sweetheart table framed in by tall floral pillars. Once everyone was seated, Daniel and Abigail made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat. Grilled Panzanella Salad was served followed by plated Classic Filet Mignon and Roasted Atlantic Salmon Fillet with Haricot Verts and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Lauren. After dinner, the couple cut into their wedding cake and invited everyone to indulge in our Gourmet Dessert Station with a collection of Mini Lemon Meringue Tarts, Berry Champagne Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Mini Carrot Cupcakes, and Caramel Cream with Lemon Curd and Praline Crisp Dessert Shots. The evening ended with everyone having the time of their lives out on the dance floor while snacking on Late Night Mini Corn Dogs and Meat Lovers Mini Pizzas and sharing their well wishes with the newlyweds.
