Grand Gimeno Ceremony and Chinese Lion Dance

Carmen and her bridesmaids and Johnson and his groomsmen got ready at Grand Gimeno for their big day inside the Powder Room and Parlor, then met in the Foyer for their first look. The wedding party watched from the sidelines as Carmen approached Johnson and hugged him from behind. The groom turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him and both their faces lit up with smiles. The couple exchanged sweet compliments, then joined their wedding party for group photos around the venue until guests arrived.

Guests were welcomed into the Olive Grove and found their seats facing a circular backdrop decorated in light pink and white flowers. As soon as everyone was in attendance, Johnson made his entrance followed by the bridesmaids, groomsmen, and finally, Carmen. In front of all their closest friends and family, the bride and groom read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts were tray passed around the Olive Grove for cocktail hour while Adios and Joe Collins signature drinks were poured at the bar. Guests mixed and mingled until the sun began to set, then headed inside for reception.

Tables were topped with sage green runners and floral centerpieces and an escort display helped guests find their assigned seats. As soon as everyone was seated, the newlyweds made their grand entrance and participated in a Chinese lion dance. After taking their seats, Ensalada Las Mesas was served. Family and friends stood and shared toasts and glasses clinked in the air. Next, Cabernet Braised Short Ribs and Lemon and Thyme Glazed Chicken Breast with Roasted Broccolini and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Arielle. After dinner, Carmen and Johnson cut into their two-tiered marble wedding cake with Bavarian filling and invited their guests to indulge in a little dessert. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and wishing the newlyweds well.
