Southbound: Hangar 21 Grand Opening
To commemorate the opening of Hangar 21, we hosted a grand opening celebration called Southbound. With help from an amazing team of vendors, we converted the inside space into any bride’s mid-century modern dream, the patio into a whimsy bohemian paradise, and the tarmac into an urban, industrial setting. The large space allowed us to showcase the versatility and transformative nature the venue has to offer.
Candace Jolee Events dressed the venue beautifully with furnishings from Circa Rentals, Jake Duke Studios and Sundrop Vintage while bouquets of florals and greenery from Foxtail Florals, French Buckets, Penelope Pots Floral Design and Creative Plant Rentals tied the entire space together. Double Dipped Calligraphy and Happily Ever Etched made the perfect pair providing a personal touch with custom stationary and laser cut wood signage. BBJ Linen and Casa De Perrin graced the tablescapes and created gorgeous place settings. We danced the night away with the Ocdamia Music Group and Vox Djs on a custom dance floor created by High Colorful Dancefloors with staging and lighting provided by Impulse Events. Lively music from the Ocdamia Music Group serenaded our guests as they entered the tasting to tray passed hor d'oeuvres. Guests were encouraged to try our homemade, mouth-watering bites, sip on delectable cocktails carefully crafted at the bar, and experience all that this beautiful, unique venue has to offer.
Mid-century modern furnishings graced the inside of the hangar with gorgeous floral arrangements that added just the right amount of color to the space. Design details such as rich, wooden tables, peacock chairs, and a mixture of leather and metal elements made for a spectacular site.
Pampas grass scaled each side of the aisle on our patio leading up to a bohemian backdrop. Ruby reds, plum purples, and peachy pink florals evoked a sense of romanticism.
Mixed metal details and sleek wood tables brought the industrial tarmac to life.
The sun might have set, but that didn’t stop us from continuing the party.
