I Do's at the Rose Center

With help from her bridesmaids, Dohee laced up her wedding gown, slipped into her shoes, and secured her veil. The time had finally come for her first look with Jeff. The walk from the bridal suite to the front of the venue was short but felt like eternity. Without further ado, she hugged him from behind. Jeff turned around to see his stunning bride standing before him and the two filled their faces with smiles. Compliments were shared, then their bridal party joined in for pre-ceremony photos. The bridesmaids wore mint-colored dresses, and the groomsmen were dressed in light grey suits. Together, they smiled and made memories while the photographer clicked away. As soon as guests began arriving, the group headed back inside to line up for the ceremony.

Guests entered the Rose Center courtyard, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat. The aisle was lined with white flower petals and the stage housed an arch covered in greenery and light pink flowers. Once all the chairs were filled, Jeff made his entrance followed by the bridesmaids and groomsmen, then Dohee. In front of all their friends and family, Jeff and Dohee read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and were pronounced husband and wife. The crowd cheered as the newlyweds made their exit down the aisle and into cocktail hour.

The bar was shaking up Pineapple Mojito and Hawaiian Mule signature cocktails while Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes were tray passed. Guests grabbed a drink and snacked on appetizers while mingling, and the bride and groom snuck off for photos. After capture their first moments together as husband and wife, Dohee and Jeff returned to the party just in time for dinner.

Inside, tables were draped with grey linens and topped with peach, pink and white floral centerpieces. Once everyone found their assigned tables, the bride and groom made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at the sweetheart table. Family and friends stood to share toasts and dinner was served. First, Tangerine and Pecan Salad, then Classic Filet Mignon and Roasted Atlantic Salmon Fillet with Wasabi Mashed Potatoes. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Lauren. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their 2-tiered wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in dessert. While sweets were being enjoyed, Dohee and Jeff played games to entertain the crowd, tossed the bouquet, and their bridal party performed dances. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and wishing the bride and groom well before heading home.
