Ivory Spring Wedding at Serra Plaza

Caitlin shared a first look with her bridesmaids at Serra Plaza, then headed over to Mission San Juan Capistrano for her first look with Lonnell. A tap on the shoulder turned Lonnell around to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a floral applique wedding dress. The couple shared sweet compliments and joined their wedding party for group photos before heading back to Serra Plaza for the wedding ceremony.

Guests entered the Serra Plaza Courtyard, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat. White flowers decorated the Spanish fountain as the ceremony backdrop and chandeliers hung above. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Caitlin. In front of all their friends and family, Caitlin and Lonnell read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Caprese Skewers were tray passed around the Lounge while the bar served up Old Fashioned and White Russian signature drinks for cocktail hour. Everyone mixed and mingled while the newlyweds snuck away for romantics, and upon their return, it was time for the reception.

Back in the Courtyard, tables were topped with travertine table numbers, white floral bud vases, and tea candles. Lonnell and Caitlin made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Grilled Panzanella Salad was served just before toasts began, then followed Cabernet Braised Short Ribs and Chicken Sonoma with Roasted Broccolini ad Parmesan Polenta. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Selena. After dinner, the couple cut into their 2-tiered marble wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in a slice for dessert. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
