Japandi Style Wedding at Hangar 21 South
Guests entered the Hangar 21 South side patio, signed Brittany and Daniel’s guest book, then took a seat in wooden chairs. White floral and greenery pillars stood tall on the stage framed in by white pedestals topped with matching arrangements. White drapery at the back of the aisle separated the guests from the wedding party for a grand reveal, and even more green and white florals decorated the space. Once everyone was in attendance, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances down the aisle ending with Brittany. In front of all their family and friends, the bride and groom read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Crab Cakes, Fried Chicken and Waffle Bites, and Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons were tray passed around the tarmac while the bar served up Pineapple Margarita and Lychee Pear Martini signature drinks. White roses topped cocktail tables, and a modern white lounge offered a comfortable and stylish place for guests to sit back. While everyone mixed and mingled, the newlyweds enjoyed a helicopter flight over Orange County touching down just in time for the reception.
Inside the hangar, washi paper pendant lights hung from the ceiling above tables topped with green grapes and pears, white roses and calla lilies, white candles, travertine table numbers, and printed menus. Everyone got up from their seats and filmed Brittany and Daniel’s grand helicopter entrance into the reception. Guests toasted with their drinks while the bride and groom popped champagne and poured it into their champagne tower before taking a seat at their sweetheart table. Tangerine and Pecan Salad followed by Vietnamese Braised Short Ribs and Honey and Ginger Glazed Salmon with Gochujang Brussels Sprouts and Wasabi Mashed Potatoes was served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Arielle. After dinner, the newlyweds shared their first dance out on the black and white checkered dance floor, then opened it up to everyone! One outfit change and a lot of dancing later, Daniel and Brittany cut into our Vintage Heart Cake and invited their guests to indulge in a slice for dessert along with cookies from our Old Fashioned Cookie Assortment. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and wishing the bride and groom well.
