WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE HORS D’OEUVRE FROM THOSE THAT YOU LISTED ABOVE?

Hannah Cluck – Director of Sales
Love the Beef Wellington – Filling, flavorful, such a classic! BUT one not on that list because it is new are our Mini Al Pastor Tacos – They are so much fun because they are tiny versions of one of our favorite menu items! Cute & tasty!

Brandon Harris – Food and Beverage Director
Gloria's Caramelized Bacon Wrapped Mini Franks – It’s the perfect bite and everyone always goes crazy for them. The biggest problem is you can never order enough.

Casey Golding – Event Specialist
I LOVE the Fig tart! It has the perfect combination of cheese, pastry and sweet fig! The pomegranate reduction adds the perfect touch! Plus, it’s a great option for a vegetarian tray passed hors d’oeuvre.

Arielle Marte – Event Specialist
BEEF WELLINGTONS! They are the easiest to recommend because people are familiar with them and they are pretty hearty, so our clients don’t have to worry about their guests starving during cocktail hour (or whatever event they are doing).

ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE CLIENTS WHO ARE ORDERING HORS D’OEUVRES

Hannah Cluck – Director of Sales
You can’t have too much food for cocktail hour!  That is when people are the most hungry, so don’t be afraid to add more food.  Also, this is the time to get creative with your menu! If you feel like you need to stick with a classic protein plus sides for dinner, cocktail hour is where you can show off your heritage or favorite foods, or something unique to your love story - If your first date was at a burger stop, do a slider bar!  If you have pizza dates every Friday, have a flatbread station!

Brandon Harris – Food and Beverage Director
Some hors d’oeuvres do best tray passed and some work well being displayed. Make sure you know what type of service you are interested in before picking. Some clients like only tray pass for hors d’oeuvres but I always think a mixture of tray pass and displayed works best.

Casey Golding – Event Specialist
Cocktail hour is typically when guests are the most hungry which is the reason why we try to push additional hors d'oeuvres whether they be tray passed or stationary. I always recommend adding some sort of station if they only have tray passed options. Options that I love for stationary are a charcuterie and cheese station, taco bar, or something a little lighter with fruit and cheese. Of course, options vary depending on the time of year and what venue they have booked.

Arielle Marte – Event Specialist
Always order a mixture of both hot and cold items as well as making sure that at least one of the options is vegetarian.
