Marigold and Green Wedding at The Swanner House
Alyson finished getting ready inside Swanner House and headed outside for her first look with Brandon. A tap on the shoulder turned the groom around to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a wedding dress with delicate lace details. Smiles immediately filled their faces and sweet compliments were exchanged, then the couple joined their bridesmaids and groomsmen for group photos. The groomsmen were dressed in navy and the bridesmaids wore mustard-colored dresses. Together the party smiled for the camera creating lasting memories and lined up for the ceremony.
Guests entered the grassy field, signed Alyson and Brandon’s guest book, then took a seat. Mustard, toffee, and white colored flowers decorated the ceremony space and boho light fixtures hung from the large tree backdrop. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Alyson. In front of all their closest friends and loving family, the couple read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Mini Turkey Palm Sandwiches and Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts were tray passed to hungry guests while the bar served up Aperol Spritz and Classic Margarita signature drinks. Everyone mixed and mingled in the Pavilion where wooden and white draped tables were topped with floral-filled bud vases and a green and white lounge offered comfortable seating. The newlyweds snuck away from the party to pose for photos together as husband and wife, and once the sun set, guests checked the seating chart and headed out to the reception area.
Tables were topped with fresh white and yellow floral centerpieces, white candlesticks, printed menu cards, and dinner plates with green floral print. Once everyone was seated, Alyson and Brandon made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Friends and family shared toasts and BBQ Boneless Chicken, Sliced Beef Brisket, Green Beans, Macaroni and Cheese, and Caesar Salad was served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. After dinner, the couple cut into their white wedding cake with raspberry creme filling and invited guests to indulge in a slice for dessert. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
