Mauve and Taupe Grand Gimeno Wedding

Michelle and her bridesmaids added the finishing touches to their bridal looks inside the Powder Room at Grand Gimeno while Johnny and his groomsmen suited up. Once both groups were ready, Johnny and Michelle met in the front courtyard for their first look. A tap of the shoulder turned Johnny around to see Michelle standing before him in her lace wedding gown. The couple exchanged sweet compliments then were joined by the rest of their wedding party for group pictures. The groomsmen wore black, and the bridesmaids wore champagne-colored dressed and held mauve and taupe floral bouquets. Once plenty of photos were captured, the group lined up for ceremony.

Guests entered the Olive Grove, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat. Fresh floral arrangements marked the sides of the aisle and where the bride and groom would soon exchange vows. Once everyone had arrived, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and loving family, Michelle and Johnny recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Paloma and Sidecar Martini signature drinks were being served for cocktail hour while Wood-Fired Pizzas were sliced fresh from the oven. Tray passed Mini Al Pastor Tacos and Shrimp Ceviche also made their rounds to hungry guests. While everyone mixed and mingled, the newlyweds posed for pictures as husband and wife outside the venue. Upton their return, it was time for reception.

Inside, tables were topped with romantic floral centerpieces and flickering candles completed the setup. Guests checked the seating chart, found their assigned tables, and took a seat. Johnny and Michelle made their grand entrance and shared their first dance, then dinner was served. Tri-Tip Carvery, Slow Roasted Carnitas, Cheese Enchiladas, Elote Creamed Corn, and Mexican Caesar Salad filled everyone’s plates. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Casey. While everyone ate, guests shared toasts. Glasses clinked in the air after each speech, and the meal service ended with a cake cutting and the bride and groom revealing our Classic Dessert Station with French Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, and French Apple Tarts for their guests to enjoy. The evening ended with plenty of dancing and a fun glow stick send off.
