Mauve Floral and Ivory Draped Luxury Serra Plaza Wedding

Ariel and Shane met on the historic Mission San Juan Capistrano grounds for their first look on the afternoon of their wedding. A tap on the shoulder turned Shane around to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a floral applique and tulle wedding dress holding a bouquet of white flowers. Smiles and sweet compliments were exchanged as the photographer captured the intimate moment, then the couple met with their wedding party for group pictures. The bridesmaids and groomsmen were dressed in black and ready to celebrate Shane and Ariel. Together the friends posed for the camera creating lasting memories, then headed over to Serra Plaza to line up for the ceremony.

Guests entered the venue gates, left the bride and groom a voicemail at the audio guest book, then found a seat in the Courtyard. White candles and flower petals decorated the halls, modern, light wood and ivory upholstered chairs were arranged in rows, big vases were filled with white, plum, toffee, and mauve flowers matching the flowers decorating a draped install framing in the Spanish Fountain, and string lights hug above. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Ariel. In front of all their friends and family, Ariel and Shane read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Cocktail hour in the lounge was accompanied by tray passed hors d’oeuvres and refreshing beverages from the bar including the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Mexican Mule and Espresso Martini. Plush lounges in white and blush offered additional stylish seating where guests could sit back and relax while snacking on caviar and listen to a live saxophone player. While everyone mixed and mingled, Shane and Ariel posed for photos together as husband and wife outside in a vintage speedster. After lots of romantics, the couple headed back to the Courtyard for their reception grand entrance.

Tables were topped with soft blush and taupe fabrics matching each floral centerpiece. Gold lamps and tan candlesticks stood tall between fresh fruit décor and flowers, and travertine table numbers helped guide guests to their assigned seats. Ariel and Shane made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Dinner was served and one by one, toasts were shared. After dinner and an outfit change, the newlyweds filled their Espresso Martini tower, cut into their wedding cake, and invited their guests to indulge in a slice for dessert, but the night didn’t end there! Friends posed for fun photos in the photo booth, a live cigar roller rolled cigars for guests, and a late night snack of In N Out was served. Finally, as the midnight hour grew nearer, everyone shared their well wishes with the bride and groom and headed home.
