Modern Greenery Wedding at Grand Gimeno in Orange, California

Guests entered the Olive Grove at Grand Gimeno, signed Vanessa and John’s wedding guest book, then found a seat. Under the olive trees, brown pillars were topped with lush green and white floral arrangements, clay pottery was filled with even more fresh flowers, and mossy greenery accented the ground. Once everyone was in attendance, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances down the aisle ending with Vanessa. Together in front of all their closest friends and loving family, Vanessa and John read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Caprese Skewers and Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons were tray passed around the Olive Grove while the bar served up Classic Margarita and Lychee Martini signature drinks. A modern green and tan lounge offered stylish seating for guests during cocktail hour while they mixed and mingled. When it was time for the reception, everyone found “love letters” written to them from the bride and groom that had their assigned table and headed inside.

Tables were topped with white and green floral arrangements, white candlesticks, green champagne coupes, printed menus, and dark brown napkins. John and Vanessa made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their head table. Toasts were shared while guests enjoyed their first course of Grilled Panzanella Salad. Cabernet Braised Short Ribs, Chicken Sonoma, Roasted Broccolini, and Parmesan Polenta followed as the main entrée. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Selena. After dinner the newlyweds cut into their two-tier wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in our French Dessert Station with a collection of Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Lemon Curd Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Lavender Macarons, and French Apple Tarts. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and sharing their well wishes with John and Vanessa.
