Modern Luxury Southern California Wedding with Black, Gold, and White Decor
Guests entered Hangar 21’s side patio, signed Susan and Kevin’s guest book, then took a seat for the ceremony. White floral arrangements and petals decorated the aisle and matching arrangements bordered a white draped backdrop on the stage. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Susan. Together in front of all their closest friends and family Kevin and Susan recited their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a celebratory kiss.
Cocktail hour on the tarmac was filled with lots of fun installs to look at. A heart-shaped hedge with the couple’s initials in white flowers stood tall in the center of the space, a phone guest book encouraged guests to leave the newlyweds sweet voice notes, and a black and white photo wall displayed years of Susan and Kevin’s love story. In between the fun activations, guests grabbed Paloma and Kentucky Mule signature drinks at the bar and snacked on tray pssed Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Crab Cakes, and Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts. Modern ivory couches with gold accent tables offered additional stylish lounge seating where guests could sit back, relax, and enjoy the tarmac sunset until it was time to head into the hangar for the reception.
A large gold and white seating chart decorated with flowers and candles shared the evening’s table assignments to guests as they walked into the hangar. Inside, tables were topped with black, gold, and white decor from the flowers to the flatware. A massive black installation covered in white flowers and greenery framed in the sweetheart table, and in the middle of the room, a white dance floor sat with Kevin and Susan’s initials in black script. Once everyone was seated, the newlyweds made their grand entrance from their helicopter ride, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Toasts were shared while Pear Salad was served followed by Classic Filet Mignon, Roasted Atlantic Salmon, Heirloom Carrots, Gourmet Mashed Potatoes, and Rosemary Focaccia. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist Brittany. After dinner the couple cut into their wedding cake and invited everyone to indulge in a sweet treat for dessert. The evening ended out on the dance floor with lots of dancing, the bride and groom DJing a song or two, and lots of photos taken to remember the night.
