Modern White and Black Hangar 21 Wedding

After tying the knot at their church, Kellie, Brian, and their guests headed to Hangar 21 South for cocktail hour. Friends and family signed the bride and groom’s guest book upon arrival, then made their way to the tarmac where Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts, Roasted Red Cherry Tomato Bruschetta, and Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons were being tray passed. The bar was positioned perfectly so that guests could grab a drink and enjoy sweeping views of the horizon where small planes and helicopters took off and landed. Whiskey Sour and French 75 signature cocktails were selected by Kellie and Brian to serve as their specialty beverages of the evening. While guests mixed and mingled, the newlyweds soaked in views from above on their helicopter flight over Orange County. Upon their return, it was time for dinner.

Modern black and white details decorated the hangar and tarmac for reception and white floral centerpieces tied everything together. Kellie and Brian made their grand entrance, shared their first dance on their custom printed dance floor, then took a seat for dinner. Tangerine and Pecan Salad, Chicken Veronique, Short Rib Rotolo Bolzano, Roasted Broccolini, and Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes were served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Kristy. While everyone enjoyed their meal, friends and family stood to share toasts. Glasses clinked in the air when the last speech ended, then the bride and groom cut into their two-tiered white cake with cappuccino creme filling. After sharing a slice, the couple invited their guests to indulge in our Gourmet Dessert Bar with a collection of with an assortment of Mini Lemon Curd Tarts, Berry Champagne Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Mini Carrot Cupcakes, and Caramel Creme with Lemon Curd and Praline Crisp Dessert Shots. Fueled by dinner and dessert, everyone headed to the dance floor. Guests surrounded the newlyweds in celebration and shared many dances with them. As a surprise, Brian and Kellie surprised their guests with a late night snack of BBQ Chicken Mini Pizzas. The evening ended with many selfies taken and well wishes shared.
