Neutral Meadow-Inspired Wedding at Serra Plaza in San Juan Capistrano with Circular Ceremony
Rachael, Aniel, and their bridesmaids and groomsmen dressed in black and brown neutrals lined up for ceremony as guests made their way into the Serra Plaza Courtyard. Through the iron gates and past the wedding welcome sign complete with clay pots and dried florals, the Courtyard sat ready for a romantic wedding. Wooden bentwood chairs were arranged in a circular shape with the Spanish fountain as the ceremony backdrop. A mix of tall grass, moss, and rust and white florals decorated the space lining the aisle and marking where the bride and groom would soon stand. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Rachael. In front of all their closest friends and loving family, Rachael and Aniel recited their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss as guests cheered from their seats.
Cocktail hour was hosted inside where tables were topped with tan linens and a modern green and beige specialty lounge provided comfortable seating for guests as they sipped and snacked. The bar served Georgia Peach and Lychee Martini signature drinks while tray passed Thai Lemongrass Meatballs, Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls, and Seared Ahi on Wonton Chips made their rounds. Guests posed for selfies together, signed the newlywed’s guest book, and mingled until it was time to head back outside for the reception.
Tables were topped with ivory linens, brown napkins, printed menus and black water goblets. Floral centerpieces sprouted up from the center of each table and were arranged organically on the ground to look like small patches of meadows with pops of terracotta, tan, and white flowers. Aniel and Rachael made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their head table. Toasts were shared and tables were excused one by one to the buffet where Korean Bulgogi Beef, Thai Three Flavored BBQ Chicken, Jasmine Rice, Asian Cucumber Salad, and Spicy Szechuan Green Beans were served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their personal wedding cake and invited everyone to indulge in our Kouign Amann station. The evening ended with lots of dancing, a late night snack of Meat Lovers Mini Pizzas, and many photos taken together to remember the celebration.
