New Year's Eve Wedding at Forme

Everything was disco balls and neon for Steff and Abe’s New Year’s Eve wedding at Forme. Steff and her girl gang were first to arrive at Forme and headed up to the Sunburst Suite to finish primping and pampering before first looks. Soon after, Abe and the guys arrived and suited up in the Sidecar Suite downstairs. As the sun was setting, Steff stepped out into the open-air loft where her dad was standing, back towards the suite door. With a tap of the shoulder, Steff’s dad turned around to see his beautiful daughter. Huge smiles immediately filled both their faces and a warm embrace was shared. After a quick makeup retouch, Steff went downstairs to meet Abe just outside Forme’s fence for their first look. Emotion overcame Abe when he turned around and saw his bride for the first time the day. He tried his best to fight back happy tears, but the power of love was just too strong. The bride and groom joked around as they posed for pictures together, then headed back into their suites to prepare for the ceremony.

Guests arrived into the courtyard and signed Steff and Abe’s guest book before heading inside where ghost chairs awaited them. Sparkling lights hung from the ceiling and a checkerboard floor marked the ceremony area. Vibrant bouquets of flowers lined the aisle and a backdrop filled with lights marked where the bride and groom would soon exchange vows. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Steff. In front of family and friends, Abe and Steff read handwritten vows that drew laughs and some tears. The ceremony ended with the bride and groom sharing a sweet kiss after being pronounced husband and wife. Everyone stood and cheered as the newlyweds exited into cocktail hour.

Back in the courtyard, guests snacked on our French Fry Station with an assortment of Seasoned Shoestring and Sweet Potato Fries while the bar was serving up beer, wine, and the newlyweds signature cocktails, a Mexican Mule and Old Fashioned. A boho lounge complete with black peacock chairs provided a relaxing spot for guests to sit back before dinner and pink and purple lighting illuminated the space. The bride and groom made their rounds thanking guests, then it was time for the reception.

Back inside, tables were draped in emerald-colored velvet and topped with pink floral arrangements. Each place setting had a thank you gift and itinerary that sat atop a gold rimmed plate. Gold flatware, neon table numbers, clear glasses and teal drinkware completed the setup. A light pink sofa and two emerald green armchairs created an indoor lounge space accented with more florals and neon sign. As soon as guests were seated, the bride and groom made their grand entrance into their first dance, then took a seat at the head table. Toasts were made and laughs filled the room as glasses clinked in the air. Next, guests were excused table by table to serve themselves for dinner. A Slider Station with Classic Beef Sliders and Grilled Vegetable Sliders became the main attraction. Once everyone had eaten their fill, the Donut Station was unveiled and the bride and groom invited their guests to indulge before midnight. The dance floor became the new hot spot for the remainder of the evening. 2022 crowns, party noisemakers, and champagne were passed out and everyone participated in the midnight countdown to end the night.
