Outdoor Colorful Floral Wedding with Rolling Green Hill Backdrop in San Juan Capistrano

Guests arrived at The Swanner House, dropped off their gifts at the welcome table, and headed down to the grassy lawn for Alexa and Andrew’s wedding ceremony. While guests settled into their seats, Andrew and Alexa shared their first touch inside the house. After the sweet moment, the couple, along with their wedding party lined up for the ceremony.

Vibrant flowers lined both sides of the aisle and were arranged as the ceremony backdrop. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Alexa. Smiles filled both Alexa and Andrew’s faces as they were joined together at the head of the aisle. In front of all their friends and family, the couple read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Glazed Pear and Goat Cheese Tarts were tray passed around the courtyard while the bar served up Old Fashioned and Classic Margarita signature drinks. The wedding party posed for photos together, then Alexa and Andrew snuck away into the field for sunset romantics. Guests mixed and mingled until golden hour, then headed down to the reception.

Tables were topped with colorful floral centerpieces, taupe and light pink candlesticks, and printed menus. Alexa and Andrew made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their floral-filled sweetheart table with rolling green hills as their backdrop. Chicken Sonoma and Cabernet Braised Short Ribs with Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and Caesar Salad was served and toasts were shared. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. After dinner, the couple cut into their wedding cake, Fresh Baked Old Fashioned Cookies were served, and our Classic Dessert Station with a collection of Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Mango and Passion Fruit Macarons, and French Apple Tarts was unveiled for all guests to enjoy! The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves under the starry sky.
