Outdoor Summer Wedding in San Juan Capistrano at Serra Plaza
Nicholas and Kristy met in the Serra Plaza Courtyard for their first look with draped arches as their backdrop. A tap on the shoulder turned Nicholas around to see his beautiful bride standing in front of him, and smiles immediately filled their faces. The couple shared sweet compliments and read handwritten vows, then were joined by their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Laugher and cheers filled the space as the group posed for photos together. With memories already made before guests arrived, the wedding party lined up for the ceremony.
Guests entered through wrought iron gates, signed playing cards at the welcome table, and took a seat under sparkling chandeliers. White and pink floral arrangements marked the aisle and decorated the area around the Spanish fountain backdrop. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and family, the bride and groom recited their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Sesame Shrimp and Mango Spring Rolls and Sticky Pork Belly Bites were tray passed around the Lounge while the bar served up Hawaiian Mule and Cosmo signature drinks. Guests mixed and mingled and posed for selfies with the newlyweds, then headed back into the Courtyard for the reception.
Tables were topped with peach and pink flowers and golden table numbers. Kristy and Nicholas made their grand entrance, shared their first dance and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Toasts were shared and Thai Three Flavored BBQ Chicken and Vietnamese Braised Short Ribs with Pineapple Fried Rice, Spicy Szechuan Green Beans, and Flat Noodles with Black Bean Sauce were served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their wedding cake and invited everyone to indulge in our Taste of Asia Dessert Station with a collection of Yuzu-Mango Tarts, Ube Crinkle Cookies, Pandan Cupcakes, Café Sua Da Cream Puffs, and Golden Milk Flan with Chai Whipped Cream. The evening ended with an outfit change from Kristy, lots of dancing, and plenty of well wishes shared with the bride and groom.
