Peachy Pizza Party Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Sarah and her bridesmaids sipped on champagne and slipped into their dresses inside the Powder Room while Brandon and his groomsmen suited up in the Parlor at Grand Gimeno. Once Sarah was ready, she stepped out in her lacey gown for a first look with her girls. Gasps and screams filled the bridal suite for the big reveal and hugs were shared all around. Meanwhile, guests began arriving. A welcome table greeted everyone in the Foyer where guests signed their well wishes, and vibrant florals marked the ceremony space inside. Once the wedding party was lined up and everyone was in attendance and seated, the music cued up for the ceremony.

Sunlight shined through Grand Gimeno’s large windows illuminating the wedding party in a white glow. The groomsmen to one side wearing blue, and the bridesmaids on the other side in pink, orange, and yellow stood awaiting Sarah’s entrance. Sweet smiles were shared when the bride and groom saw each other for the first time across the aisle, and together they stood embraced by an arbor of bright flowers for their vows. In front of all their friends and family, the couple shared communion, recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a celebratory kiss.

The pizza oven turned out fresh wood-fired pizzas for cocktail hour while servers tray passed Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Thai Chicken Spring Rolls. The newlywed’s signature drinks, an Old Fashioned and Spicy Margarita, became popular picks at the bar along with wine and beer. While guests mixed and mingled, Brandon and Sarah posed for pictures together as husband and wife in the Olive Grove and shared a “just married” pizza before heading to line up for their reception entrance.

Tables were topped with peachy floral centerpieces and sage green details for an al fresco reception. Guests found their assigned seats and watched as Sarah and Brandon made their grand entrance and shared their first dance. Zucchini Lime Chicken, Cabernet Braised Short Ribs, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans Almondine, and Tangerine and Pecan Salad was served for dinner. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Lauren. While everyone enjoyed dinner, family and friends shared toasts. Glasses clinked in the air after the last speech and the newlyweds cut into their chocolate wedding cake. The remainder of the evening was spent out on the dance floor waving around glow sticks and partying with the bride and groom.
