Pink and Peach Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Sophie and Troy got ready inside the Powder Room and Parlor then met outside under Grand Gimeno’s breezeway for their first look. On the count of three Troy turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him. Smiles immediately filled both their faces and the couple shared sweet compliments with one another then were joined by the rest of their wedding party. The bridesmaids were dressed in light blue and the groomsmen wore grey and together they smiled for the camera until it was time to line up for the ceremony.

Guests arrived in the Olive Grove where light peach and pink flowers lined the aisle. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Sophie. In front of all their closest friends and family, Troy and Sophie recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss as guests cheered from the sidelines.

Our wood-fired pizza oven was turning out Pepperoni and Classic BBQ Chicken Pizzas while Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons were tray passed for cocktail hour. Guests could also fill up a plate with selections from our Charcuterie tray. The newlywed’s signature drinks, a Paloma and Kentucky Mule, were popular selections at the bar and paired well with the hors d’oeuvres. While guests mixed and mingled, Sophie and Troy posed from some newlywed photos, then invited their guests inside for dinner.

Tables were topped with peachy floral centerpieces and gold-framed table numbers so guests could easily find their assigned seats. The bride and groom made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their floral-filled sweetheart table. A dinner of Filet Mignon Carvery, Tequila Lime Chicken, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Grilled Marinated Vegetables and Caesar Salad was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. While everyone enjoyed dinner, friends and family stood and shared toasts. Afterwards, the newlyweds cut into their 2-tiered almond cake with chocolate mousse filling and invited their guests to indulge in our Gourmet Dessert Station with a collection of Mini Lemon Curd Tarts, Berry Champagne Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Mini Carrot Cupcakes, and Caramel Creme with Lemon Curd and Praline Crisp Dessert Shots. The evening ended with an outfit change and lots of dancing out on the dance floor.
